Octagon Insurance provides insurance for private car, private van & commercial van customers. Since launching in November 2009, Octagon Insurance has achieved significant growth year on year.

The objective

Octagon Insurance required improved online visibility and brand awareness, along with an increase in the quantity of online leads generated and improved conversion of leads to customers.

Following a competitive tender, Octagon Insurance selected Netcel as its digital marketing partner.

The solution

We provided SEO consultancy and recommendations during the redesign of the website, working with a third party digital agency. We provided input on site design concepts, wireframes and technical setup within the Wordpress CMS platform.

As the previous website had no search visibility, post launch of the new website our first objective was to increase awareness of the Octagon Insurance brand name. We achieved this through a combination of on-page optimisation techniques, building relationships with 3rd party car / van sites and advising on the setup and implementation of small-scale PPC campaigns.

We utilised inbound marketing techniques to build awareness and increase visibility for related non-brand terms. This included the creation of advice and news articles that have been published on the site and distributed to social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.

Netcel were engaged for their SEO expertise…the new site has seen a significant and positive change in search engine results.
