A new EPiServer CMS website for Farnborough College to attract new students

Challenge

To redesign and redevelop the Farnborough College website to provide improved design, usability, content and functionality, whilst also improving the effectiveness of the website as a student recruitment tool, within the very competitive higher education sector.

Solution

A high quality EPiServer content managed solution, with clear navigation and an intuitive user-interface, which allows all user-types (school leavers, higher education students, adult learners and employers) to quickly access all relevant content. The site is designed and developed to conform to WAI web accessibility guidelines, and uses search-engine friendly techniques to ensure full SEO operability. Improved content tools were also integrated into the site to provide added functionality, such as an educational courses database that allows prospective students to carry out advanced searches of suitable courses prior to application
