Tim Parfitt
Tim is one of Netcel's founders and holds the position of Managing Director. As well as managing the company he is also involved in providing strategic digital consultancy to clients. Tim has worked in digital marketing since graduating from the Business School of the University of Hertfordshire in 1994. He retains strong links with the University and chairs the University's Business Focus Group. He also sponsors UH Flare, an annual competition to encourage entrepreneurism amongst university students. He is regularly invited to speak at Internet events and exhibitions.
Howard Hawkins
Howard is Netcel's Finance Director and has worked at Netcel since 1996. He is responsible for the finance and operations departments and also oversees human resources. Prior to working at Netcel, Howard worked in the credit control division of a Royal Bank of Scotland subsidiary. Howard graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Accounting & Finance.
Justin Masters
Justin is Technical Director at Netcel. He joined Netcel in 2002 and is responsible for the technical strategy of the company and defining the solution architecture on major projects. He has over 10 years experience of delivering complex enterprise IT solutions. Justin graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing Science and has since obtained Microsoft certifications.
Becky Crouch
Becky is Senior Project Manager at Netcel and joined the company in 2003. She has considerable experience in managing complex, large-scale web development projects from initiation to deployment. Prior to working at Netcel, Becky was a company director at two new media agencies. Becky holds a MA in Fine Art from Oxford University and an MSc in Computer Science from University College, London.
Jo Mottram
Jo joined Netcel in 2007 as Production Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and management of all design and technical work in the studio. Jo graduated from Brighton University in 2000 with a BA Hons degree in Information and Media. Her career progressed through Marketing and Branding Co-ordinator to Project Manager on a multi-national, multi-million pound project before joining Netcel to take overall responsibility for production. Jo is a qualified PRINCE2 project management practitioner.
Emma Lawrence
As a project manager at Netcel, Emma is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle of digital projects. Prior to working at Netcel, Emma was Web Promotions Project Manager at EMAP with responsibility for a number of leading EMAP websites. Emma holds a bachelor degree, masters degree and obtained a PhD from Cranfield University in 2004. She is also a qualified PRINCE2 project management practitioner.
James Scott
As Senior Account Manager at Netcel, James’s primary focus is to ensure client satisfaction, working alongside Netcel’s production and project management team. James has over ten years experience in sales and marketing and has played a key role in delivering innovative new media solutions for a range of broadcasters and blue chip organisations, such as NBC Universal (Sci Fi Channel), UKTV, Disney and BT.
Sarosh Elahi
Sarosh is employed at Netcel in the capacity of a Digital Marketing Consultant. He is responsible for implementing search engine optimisation, pay-per-click & email marketing programmes on behalf of the Netcel’s digital marketing clients. Sarosh holds a BSc in Computing & Information Systems from London Metropolitan University and an MSc in Networks and Distributed Computing from the University of Westminster. He has previously worked as an Online Marketing Analyst in the UK Interactive TV Gambling and Online Dating industries.
Cheryl Natel
Cheryl has been Lead Designer at Netcel since 1999 and is responsible for user interface design, user experience and site usability. Prior to working at Netcel, Cheryl worked for two design agencies where she helped to setup new media departments. Cheryl is a graduate of Luton University with a degree in Multimedia.
Nick Urry
Nick joined Netcel as a Senior .NET Developer in 2007 and is responsible for providing technical lead on the implementation of solutions. Nick has a BSc from Victoria University in Wellington and prior to joining the Netcel team worked for a number of .NET and web development companies in New Zealand. He has a broad knowledge of .NET with a specialisation in content management systems including EPiServer CMS and Microsoft Content Management Server. Nick is accredited as an EPiServer certified developer.
Sean Conran
Sean is Senior Web Developer at Netcel and is responsible for the front-end coding of web solutions. Sean has been a professional programmer since 1987 and joined Netcel in 2003. Although now working exclusively in web development his career has included multimedia development, video game programming and graphic design. Sean is an advocate of recognised coding and accessibility standards and this expertise has seen Sean produce web development tutorials for Future Publishing's .NET magazine.
Ben Edwards
Ben joined Netcel as a .NET developer in 2005 and is responsible for front and back-end development of web sites primarily using .NET technologies. Ben graduated from the TIC at the University of Central England in Birmingham with a BSc degree in Internet Technology.
Muhammad Kashif
Muhammad joined Netcel in 2006 as a .NET developer and primarily works in web site back-end development using .NET technologies. He obtained a Masters degree in Computer Science, specialising in technology management, from The University of East London and also holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science. Muhammad is currently studying towards becoming a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications.
Minesh Shah
Minesh joined Netcel in 2007 as a .NET developer. He previously worked with Tiscali helping in the development of the IPTV platform. Minesh graduated from the University of Hertfordshire gaining a BSc degree in Computer Science and is currently studying towards becoming a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in .NET Web Applications.
Tamim Khan
Tamim joined Netcel in 2007 as a .NET developer and works in back-end website development using .NET technologies. Prior to joining Netcel he has developed a back-office ordering system for a digital media agency in London. Tamim obtained a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Luton and also holds a first-class bachelors degree in Computer Applications. He is currently studying towards becoming a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications.
Dan Cox
As Network Manager, Dan is responsible for managing Netcel's web hosting services as well as Netcel's server environment for web development. Dan joined Netcel in 2003 and holds Microsoft qualifications.
Jenny Telford
Jenny joined Netcel in 2001 and is responsible for customer services including account handling and customer liaisons. Jenny also plays an active role in Netcel's marketing activities. Prior to working at Netcel, Jenny worked in similar customer-facing positions for companies including Bupa.
Colette Hayward
Colette joined Netcel as Business Development Manager in 2005. She has over 20 years experience in numerous sales and marketing roles within Hilton International, Whitbread PLC and a number of leading agencies. At Burson-Marsteller PR she was responsible for managing events for Apple, Merrill Lynch and BT. At Page and Moy Motivation she worked on the Volvo and Lloyds Bowmaker Financial Services accounts before joining the UK corporate communications office of Akzo Nobel. Prior to joining Netcel, Colette was responsible for sales and marketing at graphic design consultancy, Gosling.
Sophia Robertson
Sophia joined Netcel as a Business Development Manager having specialised in digital media since 2001. Sophia has a background in the arts, working at a number of museums including the National Maritime Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum. Sophia has managed a wide variety of digital projects within museums including interactive web-based and kiosk-based projects. She has worked for several digital agencies including CogApp and Big Picture Interactive. Sophia holds a bachelor degree and a masters degree.
