The National Assessment Agency web site is redeveloped by Netcel in RedDot CMS

9th March 2006

The new National Assessment Agency (NAA) web site has been launched following redevelopment in RedDot CMS by Netcel.

The NAA operates three web sites to provide guidance and information to examiners, schools and local authorities so to supervise the delivery and modernisation of GCSE and A level examinations. Following a competitive tender, Netcel was commissioned to redevelop the three existing web sites into a single design with common site layout and architecture using standardised CMS templates.

Netcel combined the main NAA site, the Senior Leadership Team site and the Exams Office site into a single online presence. The new site was developed totally within RedDot CMS which provides NAA staff with an easy-to-use system for updating site content. New site search functionality was deployed while RedDot was also configured to provide an automated site map and full editorial workflow. Existing site functionality was integrated into the new RedDot site including training modules, case studies, feedback & assessment forms and a resource library. Netcel developed the site to conform to WAI Level A web accessibility guidelines. Extensive technical and user documentation was produced to enable the NAA to maintain and support the site on an ongoing basis.
