Digital Project Manager

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager to join our project management team. You’ll need a results-driven approach to ensure your projects are successfully delivered on time and budget, while delivering a great customer experience to your clients.

Location: Flexible, Hybrid (with offices based in St Albans, Hertfordshire)

Your role

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager to join our project management team. You’ll need a results-driven approach to ensure your projects are successfully delivered on time and budget, while delivering a great customer experience to your clients. You will be the main contact for your clients and your project team, so you’ll need to be highly organised, able to motivate and energise others, while remaining calm when under pressure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day client relationship during project delivery.

• Progressing a number of digital projects of varying sizes at any given time, across your small portfolio of clients.

• Managing the entire project lifecycle from inception to go-live, using our internal systems and tools within an Agile framework.

• Iterating for efficiency and facilitating the project approach to best achieve the optimum pace throughout.

• Understanding the client requirements and motivating the project team to deliver high quality solutions, on time and on budget.

• Monitoring project performance, timelines and budget and report these regularly both internally and to the client.

• Communicating throughout in a clear, informed, and assured manner, including project meetings, reports and status updates.

• Documenting project plans, issue & risk logs, client sign-off and weekly status reports.

• Controlling budgets including invoice scheduling, RFCs, burn rates and budget revisions.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record in project managing large and complex technical solutions, such as digital products, websites, commerce sites or apps. 

• Several years’ experience in a similar role working with high performing teams

• Excellent skills in team leadership, communication and negotiation.

• Proven ability to project manage solutions to a high standard.

• Proven ability to plan and manage project budgets, resources and timescales.

• Many years of experience in successfully managing multiple projects and tasks on a daily basis.

• Qualifications in Agile would be desirable, though not essential.

• Experience of digital products using Digital Experience Platforms (such as Optimizely, Adobe, Sitecore, Acquia or similar)
