Business Development Executive

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to conduct lead generation activity, supporting the new business function of our agency.

Hours: This is a part time role of 22.5 hours a week spread across 3 - 5 days a week
Training: Ongoing training provided

 

The primary aim of this role is to conduct lead generation activity (predominantly phone & email) to generate a steady supply of new business leads and to nurture relationships with known prospects. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Manager to identify new prospective clients and help to nurture existing opportunities, supporting the new business function of our agency.  

This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours a week spread across 3 – 5 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation activity (to include telemarketing, email & LinkedIn), targeting an agreed list of accounts with the aim of generating appointments with new prospects for the sales team 
  • Conducting initial discovery calls to qualify and develop quality leads that meet set criteria and can be further progressed by the sales team 
  • Nurturing of known prospects and following-up with prospects post sales call 
  • Awareness of key digital technology insights to fuel conversation with prospects and proposition development 
  • Promoting Netcel's unique strengths within the digital technology industry to prospects 
  • Daily management of database and reporting of activity using the CRM (Salesforce) 

 

Skills and experience

  • B2B business development experience preferably within the business, marketing or technology consulting sectors 
  • Ability to confidently communicate to prospects across all seniority levels within medium to large sized enterprises
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Tenacious and persuasive with a can-do attitude
