As a Business Development Manager at Netcel, you’ll be responsible for generating a steady supply of new business leads through developing relationships with prospective clients and channel partners, so to support the new business function of Netcel.

You will have previous experience in working in a B2B business development / lead generation role, preferably at a digital agency, technology consultancy or business consultancy. You will have a proven track record in developing relationships with mid to senior level professionals at medium-to-large sized enterprise organisations.

With excellent verbal communication skills, you will confidently and proactively identify, manage and nurture a pipeline of new business leads until handover to the sales team at Netcel, while also working in close collaboration with the marketing and client services functions of the business.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Lead acquisition and prospect nurturing

  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects through a combination of discovery calls, face-to-face meetings and sending relevant content.
  • For qualified leads, provide a full handover and briefing to Netcel’s sales team.
  • Oversee the handover through communication with the prospect, including scheduling calls and meetings with Netcel’s sales team.
  • Audience generation for Netcel hosted events and webinars.

 

Prospect identification and research

  • Identify new opportunities and contacts through desk research.
  • Build detailed profiles on companies that meet Netcel’s target market and that we would want to nurture over time.
  • Identify opportunities through daily monitoring of tender portals and frameworks.
  • Daily management and sharing of prospecting insights and activities with colleagues, using Salesforce.

 

Networking, events and relationship development

  • Build relationships and identify new opportunities by attending industry and Netcel hosted events.
  • Support colleagues at Netcel in building relationships with key technology partners.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous B2B business development / lead generation experience, preferably at a digital agency, technology consultancy or business consultancy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with particularly strong verbal communication skills and a consultative approach to building relationships.
  • Ability to confidently communicate with mid to senior level professionals at medium-to-large sized enterprise organisations, with a proven track record of developing relationships and nurturing opportunities.
  • Awareness of the digital technology landscape and an ability to confidently use these insights to fuel conversation with prospects and partners
