HR Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager with previous experience in a generalist, HR stand-alone role to support the business with its people strategy.

Reports to: COO
Hours: 22.5 hours a week (over 3-5 days)

 

Job Purpose

To implement and deliver HR objectives and strategies that will support the overall growth, profitability and performance of the business. To provide an HR function that enables an employee value proposition that will attract and retain key talent.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

 

Generalist HR

  • Provide professional advice and support to managers on all aspects of HR and people management
  • Manage all aspects of employee relations including absence management, disciplinary and grievance and performance management
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date with employment law
  • Maintain employee records
  • Liaise with payroll bureau and manage benefits
  • Manage the Office Co-ordinator and have responsibility for Health and Safety

 

Recruitment

  • Manage entire recruitment process ensuring we are attracting and hiring the best quality candidates
  • Provide flexible resourcing options to meet business requirements as needed
  • Ensure recruitment is compliant with GDPR

 

Training and Development

  • Undertake training needs analysis
  • Identify and arrange all training in line with company strategy
  • Arrange knowledge sharing opportunities
  • Ensure the performance management process identifies opportunity for development
  • Manage talent management including succession planning

 

Engagement

  • Ensure engagement levels are regularly measured and the team is given opportunities to feedback
  • Ensure Netcel’s values are embedded through recognition and engagement activities
  • Support the Directors with internal communications

 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous HR Manager level experience in a standalone role
  • Previous experience hiring digital and technical professionals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to easily switch between operational and strategic HR
  • Good understanding of employment legislation
