Creating CIMA's strategic framework for online success

Working at a functional and strategic level, Netcel is helping CIMA bring structure to its digital future, for the benefit of its members worldwide.

Representing more than 195,000 accountants worldwide, CIMA is known for the quality of its market-leading courses, training and events.

As the organisation expanded internationally, so did its digital estate. This resulted in a fragmented online approach – a clear indication that the digital strategy needed to be updated.

Our digital strategists worked with the CIMA leadership team and stakeholders in an effort to understand the brand’s position in the marketplace, explore opportunities for it to grow and identify ways to introduce greater structure and stability online.

Over the course of the relationship, Netcel has helped CIMA quickly consolidate its digital assets into a manageable ecosystem.

Using our extensive knowledge of Episerver, our first task was to synchronise and streamline CIMA’s payment methods system across all sites, ensuring PCI compliance.

Alongside this, we have created the case for detailed internal governance structures and have explored the introduction of new technologies to help monetise their valuable back catalogue.

We needed a digital partner to help CIMA to fully engage online with our 195,000 members and students worldwide. We selected Netcel and to date they have delivered on all their promises.
